Answered question
Hi,
I currently live in an area where Videotron home internet access is easily available. Considering many of my neighbors use videontron internet service also, is there a reason why I can't sign up for the beta of home internet service?
I live in Brossard (a city just outside of Montreal).
Normally, when you receive an invitation, it is because you are in a coverage area. I would recommend that you contact Fizz.

Because it’s on invitation only at the moment.
Invitation only!
Fizz home internet is in beta testing at the moment. They send invitation to mobile Fizz users that meet their deployment strategy.
It should open to everyone soon!

I got the invite, but it says the service is not available in my area.
That's what I'm surprised about. I know members who were able to sign up for the beta in gatineau, but for some reason just off island of Montreal it's not ready yet.
As mentioned above, It is on a Beta period, on invitation.
If videotron cable available, you will be able to habe Fizz.
@Assad K.
I had the same problem when I got my invitation.
Contact Fizz, there is sometimes a bug with the address validation when you subscribe.
Home Internet is available everywhere Videotron is.
So if you got Fizz invitation, it should work!
