Rewards upgrade order?

I already know that upgrades will take effect at the start of my next payment cycle and is valid for two years from the date I apply it to your plan. Based on my level, I have a limit of 1 (levels 1 and 2), 2 (levels 3 and 4) or 3 (level 5) slots for upgrades.
Someone said to choose these wisely. I even read "It is advised to never use your free 250mb upgrade, and to wait until level 2 to use your new 500mb upgrade instead"
So, questions for the community:
* What upgrades should be applied / not applied?
* In what order?
* Can you replace an upgrade? For example, remove the 250mb upgrade and replace with the 500mb upgrade?
* If you do replace the upgrade (same example as above), what happen to the first upgrade that was removed?

No, you can't replace them...I have the 250mb and I have applied it couple days ago. I just got my 500mb but I can't replace the 250mb for my 500mb. So I contacted Fizz and they have open a ticket. They told me they don't see the 250 mb upgrade.
On there site it is written: "That bonus will become a permanent addition to your plan. If you receive a 1 GB per month Bonus, that’s yours to keep"
So if they just last 2 years it's false advertisement...

Up to now, people in the community have achieved the upgrades like:
-250Mb, which arrives when you first open an account with Fizz (level 1)
-500Mb, which arrives when you get to level 2 (but you still have only one slot to apply the upgrade)
-free voicemail fox, which arrives when you reach level 3 (and here you get the second slot unlocked, which means at this time you can apply 2 upgrades)
-Free international calling, which arrives when you reach level 6 (or 5, I'm not sure), and your third slot will be unlocked at level 5.
These are all that I have known, please correct me if anyone has the right answers.
It seems you cannot replace the upgrade...so that's why people said it is wiser to apply your 500Mb at level 2, not using 250Mb at level 1.13 -
You can apply any ways you want within the number of slots that you have.
Yes you can replace an upgrade. The replaced upgrade will be "suspended"8 -

It is written here https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-unlock-and-redeem-an-upgrade “An Upgrade is a unique upgrade you can apply to your Fizz plan — for example, it could be additional data, unlimited calling, etc. Every Upgrade is valid for two years from the date you apply it to your plan.”9
