Speed option of 120 Mbps?

Hi everyone,

Need your input here.

As you know, Fizz will be offering home internet in the very near future. We’re investigating whether to include a speed option of 120 Mbps. What do you think? Is this an option you’d be interested in having?

We look forward to reading your comments.

If the price is right, I would be very interested in 120 Mbps and faster connections.

YES, I would. Especially if it comes with more upstream bandwith.

FYI I'm an ex PC Tech (senior). Have administered Windows and linux servers and networks. Developped on both platforms and I'm currently a full time c# dev working for myself.

If you could use customers with high technical skills to test your internet please let me know. Very satisfied with the mobile service so far and I'm interested in improving my budget further. I promise to provide asssitance resolving any problem I may encounter/find. It'll be like having a field tech on site 24/7 ;)

Please, help me cancel the last remnant of my Bell services. (Cause asking nicely and appealing to emotions never hurts!)

Thank you.

I would definitely want that. I currently have 120/20 with another provider mainly for the 20mbps upload. I got the invite for internet from fizz yesterday but I’m contemplating signing up due to not having 120/20.

Hi, there's 2 things I would need to consider switching to Fizz for Internet. Right now I'm an Ebox client, and having referred 8 clients to them this makes my 30 Mbps unlimited download internet 55$ after taxes, and If I cancel with them I loose my referees. So a higher speed (120 Mbps is a sweet spot), lower cost would be essential. Also, the option of using my own router (don't know if it's too much trouble for you guys), because I'm sure it's convenient for you to give the same modem/router hybrid to all your clients.

How can you ask such a ridiculous question?
Who is going to say "naaaah, I don't want unlimited 120/20 Mbps at a good price!"
Of course you should offer 120 Mbps!
I'm one of the first lucky few who got in on the 120 Mbps beta testing offer and now, I fell bad for the new ones that get the invitation but can only get 60/10 Mbps.
Why did you do that? Only to p!ss people off and force them to go with Vidéotron instead?
They won't go to Vidéotron because it's too expensive anyway or they would be subscribers already.
What are you waiting for to launch Home Internet anyway?
It's not rocket science; it's ten times simpler than launching the mobile service.
You are bewildering me sometimes Fizz.
Sincerely, from a happy Fizz mobile AND 120 Mbps Home Internet customer.
Please don't cancel my accounts for being honest. :-)

Fizz should. It's 2019 now, many family have more than 4 devices and may use steaming video in same time. Plus 4k is becoming main stream now. 120m is necessary.

I wouldn't go for 120 Mbps any time soon unless the price was too good to pass up. Even 60 would be overkill for me as I have 30 Mbps DSL right now and it's more than sufficient. I also prefer DSL over cable, so I am not likely to be a home Internet customer anytime soon and you can probably disregard my opinion.

From reading many other posts, it's common knowledge that everyone would like the 120 mbps speed option for $40 (during the beta) to return. I would sign up the moment it was offered.

You guys have been dealing with some bad press lately for the quality of the cell network, but you're on a roll with the internet and 120 mbps would sweeten the offer even more

I think the more important thing would be the price and quality of the Internet. Since Fizz mobile is great till now, I believe your home internet service will be perfect, too!

Highly interested, especially for the beta prices of 40$, nothing would stop me from switching over to Fizz permanantly, my only concern is the modem and its stability. Would be great if clients could use their own modems, as long as its compatible with your infrastructure.
