Answered question
I live towards the outer edge of the subscription area, but the coverage map says LTE available and to subscribe. So I did. But now, when I'm at home, my network is "Fizz EXT" not "Fizz". This might be because there is a Rogers/Bell Tower very close to my house and that probably has the best single.
However, with the agreement, I have to be on a Fizz network most of the time, to not get blocked. I have a Nexus 5X phone running Android 8.1. Is there a way for me to force it back to the "Fizz" network?
You sure should talked to Fizz, something is not right

If you shut off roaming while at home, you won't go on the EXT network, but there is the risk of having no service.
shut off roaming on your phone while at home as suggested by Allison, and active wi-fi calling. It should work.
It doesn't look like wifi calling is enable on Fizz .
WiFi calling is not available on Fizz, not yet...

Wi-Fi calling might be my asnwer, but as mentioned... Not available.
My phone doesn't allow me to turn off roaming (only data roaming). And when I scan for Networks in my area to force it to Fizz, it only finds "Fizz EXT". Should I try contacting Fizz to see what can be done, because my address comes up as "LTE" on their converage map?
