If you still have a contract with Videotron, is there a way to migrate to Fizz without breaking the contract and paying off the phone?

No. Fizz and Videotron are not the same company therefore, this is not possible. Also, Fizz advertises to not sell phones and that the company only allows users to you use their own devices. You would have to pay off the phone with Videotron before switfhing to Fizz. However, when switching to Fizz, you can keep your phone number from Videotron.

Non. Fizz et Vidéotron ne sont pas la même société. Ce n’est donc pas possible. En outre, Fizz annonce de ne pas vendre de téléphones et que la société ne permet aux utilisateurs d’utiliser que leurs propres appareils. Avant de passer à Fizz, vous deviez payer le téléphone avec Vidéotron. Toutefois, lorsque vous passez à Fizz, vous pouvez conserver votre numéro de téléphone auprès de Vidéotron.

Other than James suggestion, there is other solution: You find other person to take over your Videotron plan. Or you just threaten videotron and they may may match Fizz price.12

Even though Videotron owns Fizz, they are run as two separate entities...pretty much like Telus and Koodo or Bell and Virgin, etc.10
