My internet worked before, but one day it just suddenly stopped (after I ran out, though since then I've been gifted some bandwidth so I should be fine).
I did switch phones, but others who have my model (XIaomi Mi A2 Lite) said it worked with Fizz -- and it shows that it's connected to the network with full bars, just no internet access. As stated, I've tried sending the network parameters notification at least 3 times, but don't receive them.
Did you see this error message when you visit http://www.FIZZ.ca ? If yes, too bad you run out of base data. Gift data is usable . Need wait next billing cycle. It's a bug.

Steps to follow for configuring the APN can vary from one phone to another. Here's an example:
Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Access Point Names → APN
Open a new APN and name it: Fizz
then:
Fizz APN settings are:
APN: mobile.bm
MMSC: http://mms.mobile.bm
MMS proxy: mmsproxy.mobile.bm
MMS port: 80
APN type: default,mms,supl

After setting, select Fizz in Access Point Names
