Beta officially extended and what it means

It seems like beta has officially been extended by 2 months as others have posted in reddit. What does that mean to those on introductory prices? They are basically paying almost retail prices for beta service and I think Fizz should consider providing some form to compensate these folks. For me, I was sitting on the fence and with Public offering $10 off for 6 months I am contemplating just going there until Fizz is more stable as it brings the prices close to Fizz introductory prices. For the time being my Fizz SIM will be waiting.

Beta extended will only benefit users with plan created before 11-20-2018.

It has no meaning for users with introductory price.

That means absolutely nothing for the majority of users who are getting reamed with these service issues and paying full bill.

It's funny because users that signed up after nov 20 dealt with more issues than the people that signed up for beta testing, we had to go trough 2 outages in 1 week and it's been 10 days with no LTE, 2FA verification code don't work, etc etc

Basically everyone is on beta and everyone should get a compensation not just beta users..

Good news! As of December 17, the beta period for our mobile service has been extended by two (2) months. You therefore benefit from your preferential price for a total of 5 months, as opposed to the initial 3 we had promised you.

They should give beta prices for everyone and move to intro prices only in two months otherwise they might end up losing users who are on intro prices given the outages and instabilities.

@Sam P. I think Beta prices are in single digits (< $10).

By extending beta program Fizz recognizes ( intentionally or not ) that Fizz is currently in Beta.

Therefore everyone should benefit from the beta price otherwise it does not make any sense.

@Sam, the beta prices ranged from $1 - $8 for up to 8 Gigs.

Some sort of compensation should be done for those with intro prices. If anything, the biggest test to their network came from those on intro pricing and look at the issues we've faced!

Additionally, how can you have some users on Beta and others not...that doesn't make sense since we are on the same network!

Beta price according to Fizz ( https://fizz.ca/en/faq/i-participated-in-the-beta-launch ) item 1 :

Check the price of your plan in your Fizz account; your monthly fee will tell you whether or not you are enjoying the beta discount (between $1.00 and $8.00 per month)

That's a slap in the face to everyone who joined after.

It's confirmed. Great.

totally agree new subscribers should get compensated, since they extended the beta, anyone who joined after the beta deadline should now become a beta users, close the public intro pricing, and make it invite only beta, until the end of the beta period in 2mo.

According to Fizz Facebook page:

The mobile introductory prices will end next April. Why not make the most of it by inviting a friend to join Fizz, you will both earn a $25 referral bonus.

Also on their Facebook page:
Regarding your question, all new customers that will subscribe starting with the end of introductory prices will have the new pricing available, the existing customers will have the possibility to enjoy the introductory prices as long as they don't change their plans.
