I forgot to use my referral code, if I cancel and then resubscribe would I be able to use the same SIM or would need to acquire a new one ?
Technically a sim card can be reused. But mobile phone carriers won't allow it.

Good question. Fizz states they keep your number a while...but I really don't know. Best to confirm with support I would say. Let us know what you find out.
No. you will need a new sim.
According to this page https://fizz.ca/en/faq/unsubscribe#5 (#5), you can give your sim card after you cancel your plan, so I believe you can reuse it.
Good find, Maxime. I have my doubts that it will work but it is clearly worth a shot for Rukman.

Once you port a number to a new carrier, your old SIM deactivates permanently. You’ll need a new SIM card.
