Fizz will bring back LTE in 2020, they are just working on a couple fixes it won't take long, a few years..11

I've been in Nepean, Kanata, Carp today and had 4G the whole time. No LTE though.10

Looks like 3G/3.5G HSPA are the best speeds we are getting throughout the Ottawa area so far today (3:30 pm)7

No LTE in Orleans or Ottawa east where I checked today commuting.
If you want to start looking yourselves without having to understand how the Ericsson network equipment is overlayed for Videotron and partner Rogers or checking the shared carrier tech, look up your towers in Ottawa by their MCC / MNC / LAC or help map them for Fizz community.

There are apps for Android and iPhone to not just help you troubleshoot for yourself but contribute to open data and mapping to help everyone.
It looks like the shared carrier overlay network for 3G is the fall back option for most of us and LTE on towers would be part of ongoing fixes and hopefully soon. Not sure this is the spot for technical data like on Opencell but worth watching the towers a bit to see how this all works out for Fizz. With other flanker brands offering 3G speed services in overlay not sure pricing is as competitive without LTE but hoping for the best. Good luck Ottawa and Gatineau community and keep posting!9 -

Indeed, there are some no LTE areas in Ontario nowadays. In Ontario, the internet is a vital part of everyday life. The internet keeps us connected, from communicating with loved ones to working remotely. However, some areas of the province still don't have access to high-speed internet.
