Activation stuck?

I tried to activate my sim and port my number to fizz. I first tried with the imei number and got an email about 15 min later saying i did a mistake( quite possible) so i then entered the acct number and its been 5 hours now and i still got nothing back and my sim card is still locked.
Now on the telus portal we can see my profile anymore so it look like some of the transfer worked.
Are you supposed to get a text from fizz once its done?
If i get nothing what should i do?
Also while on the fizz website i cant see the chat bubble durring support hours and i tried all browser on mobile and pc.

Have you attempted making any phone calls or texts? For me it works fine and i did not even receive a text message but it was done.

If all works and data works, i dont see why this should be an issue.
If you are still encountering problems, i would recommend reaching out to them directly via Messenger on Facebook or by waiting tomorrow for the bubble to reappear...Its on and off but would recommend messenger as even if they reply to you in a few hours, you can still message them.

Sometimes it takes a few hours for it to activate after setting up your SIM card. If you have iPhone, make sure you clicked update when the message box appeared. If you have android, make sure to adjust your APN settings.

So yes i do have an android.
However i still get the network lock sin card status. If i try to send a text i get the nk signal found message.
For the network setting it wont let me add a new apn, maybe because the sim is still lock/not activated.
Also i started the activation over 7 hours ago.

I activated using the account number found on my koodo bill and it activated within 1 minute, i.e. I had the ability to text and phone people. To get data I needed to update my APN details.

You should contact fizz using the chat bubble or facebook chat.

Or retry the activation if that is a possibility. It definitely doesn't take 7 hours.

Yeah im just waiting for the work hours, altho i could not see it on any browser yesterday, hopfully i will today.
I read other post saying that once loged in the apn page was good to get the chat bubble.

So i got the solution, turn out my phone was not unlocked. Yes i know its stupid, however i did call my previus provider and double checked that it was unlocked over the phone with an agent.
So if you have similar issue check if your phone is unlocked.

Oh and also the chat bubble did show up on the aps page at 7am.
