Hi,
I did not port over the phone number during the activated to the new simcard. Can I still port over the number after the activated the new simcard? If not, why cannot like the other carrier can port over even the simcard already activated?

You should be able to port your number out. If the carrier you are going to doesnt recognize Fizz as a carrier having them select Videotron should work afaik
I would presume that you would lose your beta pricing if you switched sim cards though.

Unfortunately, this option does not exist yet. If you do want to port your number in you would need a new SIM card and a new line. Also, you would not be able to get the Beta pricing on the new line. I hope this answers your question? JROCK - tx for the info!
