My SMS doesn't work! Can't receive any calls or text.

Simply put, I cannot receive any calls or text (SMS) with this service. Also the support chat bubble is gone. If I can't fix this I have to give up the service.

This is a known issue....can you power-cycle your device and let me know if you have the same issue?

On your Fizz account, go to My Plans, then click on Manage my Plan, then try to click Unsubscribe. After doing all that, the Customer Support Chat Bubble will appear. And then, you can finally point out your problem with SMS. I just chatted with them 10 minutes ago for the same problem as you, but so far, they could not find a solution. They say the Technical Team is working thins out asap...

Tried Power cycle, remove sim, wipe phone and reset, reset network settings, sign out and back into ICloud... Nothing works.

I can't even get in touch with a Fizz rep with the live chat since it is down via browser. Messaged Via facebook and got one response in 6 hours wait time, no solution.

Tried, there is no 'Unsubscribe' option.

Same issue for me. Everything worked until yesterday. Stopped being able to receive texts yesterday and could not even receive calls today as well. I am still able to call out and send texts though. Chat does not work...

UPDATE: STILL nothing! Can't even transfer my number out since Fizz has not properly set it up! In a 'hostage' situation of sorts now with their chat service/technical team.

I should have put more time into this decision had I have known it was possible.

Try this...it might help.

Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile networks > Network operators > Search networks

Choose Fizz EXT

I chose the first one Fizz EXT RAT:LTE 

Wait a couple of minutes

Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile networks > Network operators > Select automatically

This unlocked all the old texts for me and allowed receiving of texts and calls again.

 

However, I am getting the same issue again but I think it's because I have a low signal. It may work for you if you have an adequate signal. Good luck.

I tried to to submit another form, but it seems that's down now as well. <sigh>

Hi,

I have the same issue. Im not receiving calls and can't make any. Also, can't send or receive text messages. However I added 60 minutes for 3$ as an add on and I can make calls but my texts don't work. I reported the problem 4 days ago and it was escalated 2 days ago but still have not gotten any updates for a fix. As soon as my minutes end, I have to top it up for my phone to keep working.
